Already back then, the motto was: continuous development and use of the latest techniques - both in terms of watchmaking and on the measurement of time itself. The workshop quickly made a name for itself because the founders laid special value on the aesthetic details of their watches.

Hugo von Eyck watches were then and still are known for their high precision and quality, due to them meeting the newest trends and innovations. In the production modern manufacturing processes are used and the watches made by Hugo van Eyck are also now available to a much wider public. Nevertheless, the basic principles of the founder continue to be of importance: Precision is synonymous with quality!


Our philosophy: With our collections we would like to offer watch lovers fitting accessories. The symbiosis between attractiveness and functionality is unique.

Our designers: We design our models initially by hand-drawn sketches, as is tradition in renowned houses. Only when these drawings fully convince our designers, are prototypes made. If these also satisfy the highest of demands, the preparation of detailed technical drawings with the latest computer software begins. Then, the individual components of the watches are produced and carefully assembled by our watchmakers by hand. Only after several intensive quality control checks does the product leave our house!

Kate Brosnahan Spade (born Katherine Noel Brosnahan; December 24, 1962) is the co-founder and namesake of the designer brand, Kate Spade New York (officially rendered in lowercase as kate spade new york).



Early life and beginnings

Spade was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from St. Teresa's Academy, an all-girl Catholic high school. She attended the University of Kansas and then transferred to and graduated from Arizona State University, where she majored in journalism, worked in a motorcycle bar, and is a member of the Omega chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Foundations
The company was started in 1913 by Mario Prada and his brother Martino as a leathergoods shop - Fratelli Prada (English: Prada Brothers) - in Milan, Italy.Initially, the shop sold leather goods and imported English steamer trunks and handbags.

Mario Prada did not believe that women should have a role in business, and so he prevented female family members from entering into his company. Ironically, Mario's son harbored no interest in the business, so it was his daughter Luisa Prada who took the helm of Prada as his successor, and ran it for almost twenty years. Her own daughter, Miuccia Prada, joined the company in 1970, eventually taking over for her mother in 1978.

Casadei

The Casadei label was founded in 1958 by Quinto and Flora Casadei. Quinto Casadei—still at the helm of the footwear and leather facilities of S. Mauro Pascoli in the province of Forli—proved strong and true when he decided to expand his small crafts laboratory, in which he had already started to produce dream footwear of sophisticated workmanship.

Bruno Magli is an Italian shoemaker, designing and handcrafting high-quality luxury shoes and accessories.

History

After learning the art from their grandfather, Magli and his siblings Marino and Maria started crafting women's shoes in a small basement in Bologna, Italy, in 1936. In 1947, the first factory was built, which also produced men's shoes. The current plant was built in 1969. In the 1980s, the Magli company developed a franchising retail network which led, in about twenty years, to around 40 "franchises", strewn around Europe, America, Japan, China and other Asian countries, and Australia.
Magli is now a privately-held upscale brand leader in men's and women's footwear, leather clothing, women's handbags, luggage items, small leather goods, and other accessories.
